HOWE COURT HOLIDAY LETS

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE

The hirer shall have the right to occupy and use for a holiday the Property specified at the time of booking together with its gardens for the agreed period.

The person booking the property will be responsible for the obligations & conditions of the booking.

The hirer shall not pass his/her booking to another party unless agreed with us.

The number of persons using the accommodation shall not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking.  All of our holiday lets cater for a maximum of 2 people unless agreed in advance.    

The holiday lets and the grounds are for the use of the paying guests only. ( Maximum 2 people) unless agreed otherwise.

No smoking is allowed inside the cabin.

You are responsible for your children’s safety whilst staying at the cabin.  We generally cater for Adults only. Please advise in advance if you are wanting to book with a child guest.

We ask all guests staying in the holiday lets to respect the other guests with regards to noise levels after 10pm. 

BOOKINGS

The Owners accept all booking in good faith.  However in the unlikely event of the Owners or their agents having to cancel any booking previously confirmed, their liability will be limited to the return in full of any monies paid.

PAYMENTS

A deposit of one third of the rental is payable on booking. The balance of the rental is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. For bookings less than 6 weeks in advance, the total amount is payable on booking.

CANCELLATIONS

In event of cancellation by the hirer the deposit will not be refunded, the balance will be refunded only if the property is re-let.

Please remember to take out holiday cancellation insurance and insurance to cover your personal belongings.

PETS

We welcome well behaved pets in the Cabin & Lodge. We may consider a small doggie guest in th Annexe but this must be agreed in advance of booking.  Please ensure that they do not go on the furniture. They must NOT be left unsupervised in or outside the property.  There is a charge for doggie guests and so please advise in advance.

You will be responsible for cleaning up after your dog.

HOT TUB

On arrival please read the instructions of use which includes health & safety.  This can be found in the guest information folder. 

In the event that the Hot Tub has a mechanical error that cannot be fixed during your stay a refund will be given of £25

TOWELS/LINEN

Bedding, towels, bathmats and tea towels are included in the price 

HEATING

Is included in the hire charge

BREAKAGES

Any breakages which may occur must be paid for. Accidental damages or breakages of a minor nature will not normally be charged for.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Bookings are from 2.30pm on the day of arrival to 10.30am on the day of departure. Please notify us of your anticipated arrival time in advance so that we can arrange access to the property.

Guests are asked to leave the accommodation clean and tidy when vacating ( including washing up).  The Owner reserves the right to gain access with prior notice for the purpose of maintenance and inspection if it is necessary.

We are currently not greeting guests due to current pandemic (COVID)

You will be advised in advance on how to gain access to the holiday property. We live on site & are available by telephone in the first instance. Please feel free to call us if you need assistance.  We do ask guests not to call after 10pm unless in a case of an emergency.

COVID

Cancellations

Due to the current pandemic we agree to transfer any monies paid to an alternative date ( subject to availability) if there is any restrictions on travel or stays in holiday lets enforced by the government.

Check-in & check-out

Guests will currently not be met on arrival.  There will be self check-in and check out. You will be advised in advance on how to access your holiday let. We live on site & are available by telephone in the first instance. Please feel free to call us if you need assistance.  We do ask guests not to call after 10pm unless in a case of an emergency.

Cleaning of Holiday lets

The holiday lets will be disinfected between each stay, using a fogging machine with eco friendly Dew natural disinfectant.

Sanitiser will be at the entrance of each holiday let.  There will also be anti bacterial/antiviral cleaning spray/wipes in each holiday let.

Bed linen is commercially cleaned by a professional laundry company. 

Additional

We provide to handwash to the kitchen and bathroom areas.

All guests will receive complimentary disposable slippers.

Cards & Board Games are available if advised in advance.

We also have walking maps if required.  

Symptoms

We ask all guests to follow government guidelines with regards to helping towards the control of the virus.  Please advise us if you show signs of Covid  during or after your stay so that we can all help to avoid the spread of Covid.

We cannot state that we are Covid free but we will endeavour to make sure we do our best to provide a clean environment for you during your stay with us.
